How do I contact you?
- There is a tab on my site that says “Contact”. Please use this for any important comments/questions/concerns. Using the contact form on my site sends me a direct email and is more likely to get a response than a DM on my social media platforms.
- You can DM me on any of my social media platforms, but I may not always respond or I may take a while to respond as my DM’s get very cluttered very fast.
- For messages that are extremely important or time sensitive please make the subject “Urgent: *insert normal subject here*” so I know I need to stop what I’m doing and respond.
- PLEASE read the entire FAQ page and Shop Policies page before reaching out with questions.
Can I commission a painting from you?
- I am not currently accepting any new custom work. This is subject to change, but as of now my schedule is booked. I will update this if/when I have open slots. UPDATED 7/20/2024
What kind of commissions do you accept?
I AM NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING ANY NEW CUSTOM WORK.
- PLEASE BROWSE MY WORK BEFORE REACHING OUT ABOUT A CUSTOM PAINTING. IF THE PAINTING YOU WANT DONE IS NOTHING LIKE MY CURRENT STYLE I WILL TURN IT DOWN. There are tons of artists out there and we all have our own style (which is always subject to change). Please do not send me a screenshot of a piece I did in 2020 and ask for something in that style as my style has changed significantly since then.
- I will never recreate someone else’s work.
- I do not make logos. I do not paint portraits.
- If something has sold and you’re wanting me to replicate it, I could potentially make a similar piece (not a replica, some things will be different), but the price may not be the same as the original piece that was sold. Recreating a piece takes away from the artist flow, and I reserve the right to adjust prices when I feel it is necessary. The customer would be made aware of any price adjustments before putting down their non-refundable deposit.
- Please understand that this is not meant to intimidate you, you can always reach out if you’re unsure about something. I have created this section to try and help people find answers before they reach out, that way I can have more time to respond to people with further questions.
Payment Methods
- My shop now offers Afterpay! Afterpay allows you to make multiple payments instead of paying the full amount at checkout. Afterpay does not charge the customer any fees as long as payments are made on time. I do have to pay a slightly higher fee on my end when afterpay is used, but I’d rather make it easier for my customers to purchase a piece of art than pocket that extra percentage!
- My website processes payments through stripe which accepts most debit/credit cards. Stripe is a secure payment method that I’ve been using for almost 3 years with no issues!
- If you want to talk about placing an order through Paypal or Venmo you can send me a message with the subject “Alternate Payment”. Make sure you put the name of the piece you would like to purchase and what payment option you would like to use in the email. I will then message you back with a link to pay. Sending me a message does not mean you automatically get that piece. If someone purchases it through my site before we complete payment it is now theirs to keep. I will try to stay on top of emails about alternative payments, but it’s very important that you label the message before you send it. I can do alternative payments through DM as well, but my notifications are not on for DM so I may not see it right away.
- I DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS. I REPEAT, I DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PAY IN CASH YOU MUST EITHER BE AVAILABLE TO BRING IT IMMEDIATELY OR RISK THE CHANCE OF IT SELLING ONLINE BEFORE YOU CAN GET THE MONEY TO ME. THIS IS TO PROTECT MYSELF. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
- At events I typically accept: cash, venmo, paypal, and most cards through Square.
When will my items ship?
I'm currently navigating life as new mother and will work to get orders out as fast as I can, I appreciate your patience!
- I typically ship orders within a week of the purchase date. Once a package has been dropped off at the post office I have no control over how long it takes to get to you. If you would like to upgrade to faster shipping please reach out to me WHEN YOUR ORDER IS PLACED. We can then discuss upgraded shipping costs.
- Some orders will go out faster than others depending on if it's an original piece that needs varnished and how many orders I have. Please understand that packing/processing orders takes time (and love<3). You will almost always get tracking within 1 week of ordering unless stated otherwise on my website/social media. Smaller items like stickers may be packaged quicker than bigger original paintings. If you’re ever curious about when your order will go out please use the contact form on my website with your order number and I should be able to give you an estimate on what day your package will be dropped off at the post office.
Am I supposed to tip? / I want to tip but I'm not sure how.
- You are not by any means required to tip.
I think most of us artists really don’t expect a tip and most people don’t tip. I will say when we do get a tip it's usually very unexpected and very exciting. If you choose to tip the artist just know they are screaming with excitement inside even if it's just $1.00. It’s less about the money and more about feeling like you value and respect the effort we put in. Being an artist is more than painting, it’s long nights trying to get through artist block, content creation for social media, video editing, photo editing, marketing, taxes, never ending emails and DM’s, so many sticky notes with ideas scribbled on them, keeping a tidy studio, learning how to balance an absurd amount of social media accounts, dealing with haters, practicing to create better work, packaging/shipping orders, reaching out to galleries and markets, etc. etc.
With that being said, if you want to tip but don’t have the funds you can always opt to leave a note at checkout. A simple “I found you on _____ and fell in love with your work.” or “I’ve been eyeing up stickers for months and I can’t wait to put them on my water bottle!” is more than enough! We never expect anything extra and a note is a great way to make us feel appreciated without spending any extra money. If you want to really make us feel good, post a picture once your product arrives and tag the artist!
- So you want to tip and aren’t sure how? I have a listing labeled “tip the artist” with options for $1.00-$15.00 tips!
- Maybe you want to tip but you had to see the product/package in person first, lucky for you (and me) you can purchase a tip at any time! Just put it in your cart and check out like normal!
- Again, tips are not required!!! Do what feels best for YOU. ♡
Do you do collaborations? Do you do trades?
- Hi friend! I am totally open to trading with other artists/brands. Just remember we both reserve the right to say we’re not interested! If you would like to do a trade send me a message and we can chat about it.
- I would love to broaden my collaboration horizon. At the moment I am rather busy, but if you would like to collab on a project please reach out! We can always push it back to a slower season or maybe it will sound so fun that we will HAVE to make time for it!
What supplies do you use?
- I use a mix of different supplies depending on how I’m feeling and what’s available. If you want to help a girl out I have lots of my fav Amazon finds linked in my Amazon storefront! I get a tiny commission when someone buys from the storefront, just make sure to buy within 24hrs of adding it to your cart or I don’t get the commission!

- Liquitex Gesso.
- Paint: I am an acrylic painter so these will all be acrylic. I love using affordable products. I use a mix of Apple Barrel craft paint, Liquitex basics paint, and a tiny dash of Golden but mostly just their Iridescent Gold paint (it’s the best gold paint, worth the extra money). I know you may be thinking HOW does she make Apple Barrel paint look like it costs more than $0.50-$1.00? I mix it with Liquitex, that’s how! I know the idea of using “cheap” materials may put you off at first, but I’ve tried both ends of the spectrum and this is what has been working for ME lately. Sometimes taking the pressure off by using materials that don’t cost an arm and a leg is exactly what your mind needs to bust through the creativity barrier. As far as I can tell there have been no issues with the final product as long as I make sure to varnish the piece once it’s fully dried. [TIP: do not even try to use Apple Barrel’s white paint; it will most likely crack. Instead try Titanium White from Liquitex!]
- The crayon-type marks in my paintings come from WATER RESISTANT CaranD’ache wax pastels, although I’m sure you could substitute regular crayons as long as they’re water resistant. Occasionally I use colored pencils in my work as well.
- I use Liquitex gloss varnish to varnish all of my paintings for the most part. I did try out Gamblin Gamvar Gloss varnish for about a year because it says it can be used for acrylic and oil, but it seems to be best to leave that for oil paintings. When I paint on wood I typically use an isolation coat (Golden brand) before varnishing to get an even glossy look.
- Brushes: I get the affordable variety pack from whatever craft store I’m at.
Do you host painting classes?
- I do not teach classes but I do make detailed tiktoks with voiceovers! I also post videos on instagram on occasion, but the time limit on there doesn’t work very well for detailed videos. I don’t mind when other creators message me for tips but please do not message me about lessons because the answer will be no. Not everyone that enjoys creating also enjoys teaching!
I host an event and want to know if you’ll come vend or paint live, will you?
- When it comes to vending it depends on the entry fee, how long it is, location and if my schedule is clear. I would love to experience some different events and pop ups as long as I’m able! Let's talk about it!
- I’m currently not interested in live painting, it stresses me out and interrupts my creative flow. I’m not entirely against it, I just need to work on being able to focus with people watching before I make that kind of commitment.
